If Premium ends while you have more than 4 contacts
Nothing is deleted. Your account goes back to the Free plan, and some features pause until you're at 4 active contacts or fewer.

Getting everything back
Either re-subscribe to Premium, or archive contacts until you have 4 or fewer active contacts. Archived contacts don't count towards the limit and are kept with their history. Once you're at or under the limit, reminders, digests and notifications resume automatically. On the Free plan you can restore an archived contact whenever you have fewer than 4 active contacts.
Questions
What counts as a contact?
Any active (non-archived) person you save to Digby — friends, family, colleagues, anyone you want to stay in touch with. Archived contacts don't count towards the Free plan's limit.
What happens if I hit 4 contacts on the Free plan?
You'll be prompted to upgrade to Premium before adding a 5th contact. Your existing 4 stay free forever.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium normally stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account returns to the Free plan.
Will downgrading delete my contacts?
No. We never delete contacts because a subscription ends. If you have more than 4, see what's paused until you're back under the limit.
